Letter to future self

Beckett Hughes 3rd May 2024 Future Beckett  Dear my future self, I hope we are doing good in the future. I’ve always wondered how we would turn out in the future, growing up we’ve always felt like we were so old but we would feel so young at the same time. I want to believe that we have the perfect life that I want now in the future, but i know the likely of that happening is pretty low. All I hope for the future is that we are happy and in a place we enjoy in life. For highschool there are many things i’ve been proud of during the years, but my top two would either be getting accepted to be a camp counselor which is something we both wanted for so many years, or doing all of the work on the beetle ourselves and learning all we can. Those accomplishments didn’t come without challenges though. We struggled with adhd and dyslexia, but one of our main hurtles was hurting our back over our junior year summer and ending up in the hospital because it took us away from camp and ...

4/9/24

 Over spring break I went to 30a in florida. I went with a group of friends and we stayed in a house on blue mountain beach. We drove down as a group on Sunday along with the parents who were chaperoning for us. The first day we got almost got evicted due to the fact that we had no adult saying in the house directly with us. Due to this we then had one of the parents sleep in the house with us who were chaperoning. After that we began the week long fun of sitting on the beach for 5 hours and then going back to sleep and eat. Most nights we would then go out to our friends house to hangout and have fun along with a couple parties. Many of these parties would end up getting shut down and we would have to go home or to another friends house. Some nights we would sleep out at other houses or come home late but we were always safe and careful.
